silex-India is in the process of scaling up its engineering team in Chennai and its subsidiary in Santa Clara, USA and is looking to hire highly motivated engineers who relish challenging work with high technology content and has a penchant for working closer to the hardware.

Engineers with the following expertise are encouraged to apply

  • Embedded OS: Linux, Android, BSD Unix, VxWorks, pSOS+, NucleusPlus, uC/OS, ThreadX, WindowsCE/WEC7/WEC2013
  • Device Drivers (under an embedded OS )/BSP Development
  • 802.11x drivers (AP and Station/Client) - Experience with QualcommAtheros, Marvell, Redpine,Realtek and TI WLAN chipsets, a huge plus
  • SDIO/USB/SPI/PCI/PCIe Interface Technologies
  • Strong Networking background
  • ARM, MIPS, PowerPC, x86 processor architectures and other 8 or 16-bit microcontrollers
